The North Face Aleutian 35-Degree Synthetic Sleeping Bag is a versatile and well-priced option that gives you a happy combination of roomy comfort and warmth for cool nights that dip down below 50F. It includes features tailored for campers that like to make their sleeping setup feel more bed-like, such as a zipper that unzips all the way around the foot box so the sleeping bag can lie flat like a blanket, and a roomy, comfort-oriented fit. Both the outer fabric and lining are water-resistant to protect both you and the bag from heat-robbing moisture. A draft collar and hood drawcord help keep your body warmth in and cool air out. The Aleutian's Heatseeker Eco synthetic insulation is made of 30% recycled material, is highly compressible for easy packing, and is more durable than other synthetic insulations. The North Face has accomplished this through a unique dual-layer construction that features an inner layer designed for maximum compression balanced by an outer layer for durability so the insulation doesn't get overly compressed and lose its effectiveness after one season. The top of the sleeping bag is optimized for warmth and durability, and the bottom of the sleeping bag is designed to keep the insulation in place to prevent cold spots. Offset stitching between the layers of insulation helps keep warm air trapped in.
